Major version!
An inventory finally exists! Originally, I was going to create a 4x6 slot layout, with the same functions as normal inventories (Such as from Minecraft). This ended up being too hard, and is most of the reason this update took so long. About a week or so ago, I decided to work on an entirely new inventory design and system. It now has 4 distinct sections. Equipment, weapons, powerups, and the player screen. This was all a branch off of making the shop, which was my original intention. Had to have an inventory to store the stuff that was bought first though.
I'm planning on adding version detection for saves, so the game doesn't just break when you attempt to load an incompatible save.
EXISTING SAVES WILL NOT WORK. CREATE NEW ONES.
Changes
- INVENTORY!! The weapons section, along with the speed powerup, are the only sections that work as of now.
- Shop. The basic layout for it currently exists, but its NOT in its final form whatsoever. Also doesn't work (hint hint next update)
- Players now start with only a pistol. Working to create the shop asap so that people can buy the assault rifle.
Sorry for this temporary downgrade on equipable weapons. If it's too much of a problem, stick with v3.1.0b until the shop is released.
Known Issues
All bugs noted in this changelog are known issues from THIS update only. Not all known issues.
- Getting weapons by level doesn't actually exist, nor work
- Armor doesn't exist, nor does it work
- Ammo and health powerups don't do anything in the inventory. Might remove them entirely.
- Pretty sure equipping items just like, doesn't work sometimes?

- Many, many bugs during development. No reason to list them though since they were never released.
